The popularity of Rainbow Lake Playground means that it needs frequent TLC, and its creative, non-standard equipment is a step above many cookie-cutter playgrounds. That means this special place has frequent maintenance needs, and meeting those needs costs money.
We replenish safety surfacing twice a year, sand for the sand pit as needed, and swings and wood equipment as they wear down. We have also been working to make even more features of the playground ADA-compliant, and to increase interactive opportunities, particularly for younger children.
If you’re a regular visitor to Rainbow Lake Playground, please become a regular donor to its maintenance fund. Help us keep this unique park feature accessible and enjoyable for all Memphians!
