If you’d like to hold your your next walk/run/bike event at Overton Park, you must obtain a permit from Overton Park Conservancy*.

A walk/run/bike event is a special event offering a walking, running, and/or cycling route for a group of 25 or more. Generally, these events are open to the public to participate in and are used as a fundraising mechanism for the hosting organization.
Fees are based on number of participants for four-hour increments.
- Commercial event participant fee – $3.00 per participant
- Non-Profit event participant fee – $2.50 per participant
After four hours, an hourly incremental fee is in effect. See Facilities and Fees for specific areas’ hourly fees.
*Special events with 25 or more people are also required to obtain a Special Event Permit from the Memphis Police Department.
