Volunteers are the heart and soul of an organization! Overton Park’s success depends on a dedicated group of volunteers who create momentum and inspire others to take action for our park.
The Overton Park Conservancy volunteer program offers the opportunity to be a park advocate, give back to the community, have fun, and make new friends with like-minded people.
Our primary volunteer program is Team Overton Park, a group of regular park visitors who record their observations and serve as ambassadors. Typical TOP duties include noting maintenance issues in the park, answering other visitors’ questions, and recording the types of activities they see on any given day. If you visit the park regularly, TOP is easy to fit into your schedule! Learn more about the program and apply to join here.
Other volunteer opportunities with Overton Park include group work days, where you might plant flowers, spread mulch, pick up litter, or remove invasive plants. You can also volunteer at one of our special events. To see where you best fit in, check out our volunteer job descriptions.
