$25,000 #GivingTuesday match, plus the return of Make a Gift, Get a Pic

This week we celebrate another Giving Tuesday, when people all across the country take a break from holiday shopping to support the nonprofit organizations working to make the world a better place. In our little corner of it, we like to use this occasion to flood social media with beautiful photos of the Old Forest. For every gift we receive today, we’ll post a photo in the donor’s honor.

And that’s not all: a generous anonymous donor will match $25,000 in gifts through the end of the year!

When you visit www.overtonpark.org/give today and make a gift of any amount, we’ll post a photo for you on our Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram account. You can provide us with your handle right there on the donation form and we’ll give you a special shout-out. Plus, your gift will automatically be doubled as part of the $25,000 match!

Your donation comes at a critical time. Funding for our core costs took a major hit this year because of the successful Greensward fundraising campaign. We need to access the full $25,000 match in order to meet our individual fundraising budget for the year, and we have just one month left to do it. With the park on the cusp of major changes, a strong Conservancy is more important than ever to provide stability and careful planning.

Thank you for all that you’ve done for Overton Park this year. We are so grateful for a community that comes together in support of welcoming, accessible green space.

Please give today.

There are other ways to make a difference, too:
