A Magical Night is Magical Indeed

A Magical Night at Overton Park

The weather was perfect, the atmosphere fantastic, the food and drink delicious, and the company truly spectacular.  It all added up to a wildly successful first fundraiser for the Overton Park Conservancy, and A Magical Night at Overton Park that truly lived up to its name.

The park’s formal gardens–beloved by many and completely unknown to others–were transformed with dramatic lights by Moonshine Lighting, clear-sided tents, candles, and comfy sofas.  Music by Jamille Hunter and Breeze kept everyone tapping their feet (or turning the garden walkways into a makeshift dance floor).  A Moveable Feast provided everything from bacon-wrapped dates to butternut squash soup shooters.

We would like to thank everyone who made this possible:

  • Our sponsors: FedEx, Classic Party Rentals, The Commercial Appeal, Diversified Trust, Echo Systems, Independent Bank, MLGW, and Raymond James | Morgan Keegan
  • All the vendors who made the event sparkle: Classic Party Rentals, Special Events Rental Services, A Moveable Feast, Protech Security, Kelly Valet Parking, Safety Quip, Moonshine Lighting, Profound Sound, Buster’s Liquors, Echo Systems, Charles Brittenum, Jamille Hunter, Breeze, Shannon Jenkins, The Magic of Kim Edmonds, and Hattiloo Theatre
  • Our amazing volunteers, who replanted the formal gardens, helped create the decorations, and assisted before, after, and during the event
  • Everyone who attended and contributed to the many great vibes at the party
Now to the part you’ve all been waiting for: let’s see some photos!
